GreenON — Save Money, Fight Climate Change

The not-for-profit Green Ontario Fund, is part of Ontario’s Climate Action Plan

As part of the Green Ontario Fund, a GreenON website (GreenON.ca) was created which serves as a one window approach for Ontarians seeking information and access to programs and rebates in the province that assist business and residents in reducing energy costs and fight climate change.

The portal provides a searchable database of all programs in the Province. Programs are searchable by postal code which enables the user to find incentives that are available in their specific area; incorporating both provincial programs and those administered by different companies depending on jurisdiction. The database is divided into three broad categories; Residents, Small Business and Medium and Large Organizations including manufacturing, institutional and commercial operations.

The not-for-profit Green Ontario Fund, part of Ontario’s Climate Action Plan, is a newly formed provincial agency that uses proceeds from Ontario’s carbon market and invests them into helping residents and businesses take action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and use cleaner technology in their homes and workplaces.
