Constellation’s Efficiency Made Easy® (EME) with CircuitMeter is a “no upfront cost” program to implement energy efficiency measures
For Immediate Release
BALTIMORE, MD — December 11, 2020 – CircuitMeter, the most advanced and cost competitive provider of integrated submetering and energy analytics technology, will work with Constellation, an Exelon company and a leading competitive energy provider, to offer its customers access to Constellation’s unique Efficiency Made Easy® (EME) program. The EME program helps businesses implement optimal energy conservation measures, such as CircuitMeter’s Forensic Energy Management approach to Measurement & Verification, Precision Maintenance and Continuous Energy Audit, with no upfront capital expenditure. The cost for the upgrades is included in the monthly charges that appear on their Constellation power and gas supply bills.
With average energy waste estimated at 30% by the U.S. Department of Energy, most commercial and industrial buildings are spending money on energy that is a waste. But energy is invisible, and facility operations people have not had the tools in the past to economically measure energy use and identify waste.
CircuitMeter’s breakthrough submetering technology dramatically lowers the cost to measure electrical use, in real time, at the circuit level where machines/equipment use energy. Whether the waste is from unnecessary use or inefficient use, continuous audit of a portfolio’s buildings and facilities can identify waste as it happens, and enable quick operational remedies, or provide the data necessary to quantify the costs and prepare business cases to justify the expense and allow solutions to proceed.
When it comes right down to it, virtually all energy efficiency expenditures rely on energy data before and after implementation in today’s management environment.
“We value Constellation leadership in making sustainable efficiency technologies easier for their clients to implement,” says Paul Mertes, CEO of CircuitMeter Inc. “CircuitMeter and its growing network of Channel Partners is excited to be able to work with Constellation to help their clients achieve increased energy efficiency in their buildings and facilities, and to reduce their environmental impact.”
